Meet Michael E. Stein

Associate


With over 30 years of real estate, transactional and business legal experience, Mr. Stein has extensive knowledge of real estate tax matters, ad valorem property taxation and real property assessment appeals.


Mike began his real estate practice in 1987 with The Inland Group, Inc. legal department handling various real estate matters including apartment building sale transactions, related real estate tax issues and tax prorations.

Mike entered private practice when he handled the real estate practice for Caluwaert & Panegasser. Mike expanded his real estate expertise with the Law Office of Friedman, Sinar & Rohlfing and worked complex financial and real estate transactions with Katz, Randall, Weinberg & Richmond.

Since joining Weis, DuBrock, Doody & Maher in 2003, Mike has provided counsel and representation of clients in successful tax appeals saving them substantial sums of money.


Mr. Stein graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University Law School and was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1987. He earned a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in 1984.
